SUMMARY:Kevin Wong Eagle ProjectClick for details
DESCRIPTION:Fellow Scouts\, \nMy name is Kevin Wong and I am looking for volunteers for my eagle project. \nI will be building two plant cages for the nursery at Descanso Gardens\, La Canada. These wood and chicken wire cages provide a place to shelter young plants from both the weather and wild animals. \nMy project will be on the following days: Saturday\, July 17th and Sunday\, July 18th from 9am to 3pm on both days. We may also work on Saturday\, July 24th\, but only if the project requires more time. \nDue to past arrangements\, anyone looking to earn San Marino High School service hours must print out the necessary forms and then talk to me about getting the necessary hours. \nThe project will consist of assembling the two cages from pre-cut wood\, stapling chicken wire over the cage frame\, and sealing the wood. The project will take place in the garage just above the nursery. Signs will be placed on the project date to help direct volunteers. \nPlease bring work clothes and a pair of gloves\, as we will be working with wood. Lunch will be provided. \nLocation:1418 Descanso Dr.\, La Canada Flintridge CA 91011 \n(818)-949-4200 \nMy contact info (Should you have any questions):Home Phone: (626)-282-7285Cell Phone: (626)-755-9819Email: annrwong@gmail.com \nIf you plan on attending\, please reply so I may get a head count on the number of scouts. Thank you!
